“I welcome Len Kosova’s appointment to the DevelopmentWA board. Len has more than 25 years experience across local government and planning and will be an invaluable addition,” said WA Planning Minister, John Carey.
“Mr Kosova will chair a number of Land Redevelopment Committees, where his insights will help ensure the delivery of high-quality outcomes within urban renewal projects.
Since January 2019, Mr Kosova has been a Member of the Western Australian Planning Commission’s Statutory Planning Committee; and Executive, Finance and Property Committee. In August 2019, he was appointed by the State Government to serve as a Commissioner at the City of Perth, a role he held until the new Council was elected in October 2020.
Mr Kosova is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and the Planning Institute of Australia and holds a degree in Urban and Regional Planning.
He will replace outgoing Board Member, Dale Page.
“I would also like to acknowledge outgoing Board Member Dale Page, for her successful tenure since 2018.”
“Ms Page has provided fantastic guidance and leadership during the complex mergers of LandCorp and the MRA and the integration of the commercial functions of the Department of Communities,” said Minister Carey.
